I would love to know why God, in His unfathomable mercy and omniscience, couldn't make me live up to my name a little more than I do. I mean, I'd like to think that I'm pure grace in my behavior towards others, but why can't I be even slightly more graceful in physicality? I don't even have to be pure grace. I'm not greedy. I can live with tainted grace, or even substandard grace. Just a little help here would be nice, that's all I'm saying.

Wonderful, Wonderful Day
So, today was just one of those normal, glorious days that makes the rest of life worth it. Nothing terribly special happened, yet that just made the normalcy of it all the more precious. I slept as late as I wanted this morning, then got up, did some housework, and got ready for church. I met Julianne (my soul mate-I swear, we're so much alike it's scary) at Starbucks, and we talked for a while before we left to go to college group at this church I've been visiting some. The service was all right-I agree most of the time with the leader, if not with the actions of some of the other people in the service. Why do people have to wave around and act so....weird? I know it's all about worship preferences, but it just seems like a way of getting attention to me. In any case, the sermon was good. It was talking about Pentecost, which is never an easy subject to speak on. After church, Julianne took me back to my car, and I drove home, stopping briefly at Wendy's to get a frosty for Mom. (She's been sick all week, prayers would be nice.) After putting on jeans and a hoody, which was absolutely marvelous, I went downstairs. Pretty soon, Julianne and Rachel came over. We talked, ate entirely too much food, and watched two movies as well as the end of "Pride and Prejudice." It was SO much fun. Mom made us a fabulous dinner, and we talked for at least an hour. God has been so good about bringing wonderful friends into my life, and I never cease to be grateful for them. Kind of a lazy day, but very much appreciated after how hectic last week was with getting home from Florida and starting school. I hope all of your days was just as enjoyable as my own. Blessings! Love, Me.

General Orders of Business
Bobby, you can chill out now. Your comments are now up.
Happy Birthday to my dear friend, Rachel! She's 17 today. Love you bunches, sweetie!
Today is going to be a happy day, I do believe. Firstly, I'll get to wear my new leather jacket out into the world. I got it on Wednesday, for an UNBELIEVABLE price! I was so excited! Although I wasn't sure how to feel when Evan told me it made me look sexy...I suppose I'll take it as a compliment. :D Next, I'm going to be meeting Evan, Bobby, and Bobby's family at the movie theater to see the second National Treasure movie. I loved the first one, so I'm really hoping that this one won't pull a Pirates and be horrible beyond belief. We live in hope!
Finally, I am also planning on cleaning out Evan's bathroom closet. I can't take it anymore-there's a green glow emitting from the premises. I love looking at things after they've just been organized!
Anyway, I hope you all have a fabulous day!

My Day
So, my day was rather interesting. It all began much earlier than I would have liked, as I had to go to my self-defense class. I drove there, only to arrive to hear the dreaded words: "We're going to be learning how to fall today." I want give you the sordid details, only to say that one of my legs isn't working and that I have a bruise the size of Texas on my bum. I'm sure you all wanted to hear that, but yeah. Then I came home, and helped my brothers, mother, and grandmother arrange my grandmother's dining room/library, which we'd painted last week. Then I came back to the house and cleaned the bathroom from top to bottom. The rest of the day was spent holed up in my room, watching anime, the Mummy movies, and now I'm on Die Hard 2. I have managed to get something accomplished, so there you are. I'm afraid that I'm in a slightly numb mood, so don't expect anything brilliant from me today. I'll try and do better tomorrow. Love to you all!
